We fly from the lovely cathedral city of Exeter on the river Exe and the busy mid Devon market town of Tiverton situated north of Exeter on the A396 on the rivers Lowman and Exe which used to be used as a source of power for its woollen industry. The surrounding area of Devon with its sweeping countryside, its narrow hedged roads and lavished green fields are only a few miles from the centre. With its pivotal position within the county, Exeter is also ideally placed to combine a visit to such places as the famous Dartmoor National Park or the unspoilt beaches of two coastlines.
